Provoke is a creative culture studio and agency focusing on helping brands contribute meaningfully to youth culture throughout Europe (and beyond). We focus on communication, strategy and creativity through key communities relevant to youth culture. As a culture agency it's crucial for us to always have a community and culture first approach as we love what we do and want to ensure our creations and campaigns really add to current cultural discourse. Our organization is structured around 5 key pillars: Research, Strategy, Creative, Media, and Web3. We work with a range of brands who believe in true partnership and align with our philosophy about bringing value to youth culture. We don’t only want to define ourselves on the agency work we do though, we use our commercial work to fuel an engine that allows us to allocate resources to a range of creative and progressive cultural initiatives.

We are looking for a Creative Director to join the leadership team in Amsterdam. We require an ambitious creative thought leader, someone that can help them grow our influence globally. You will be an advocate of creativity as a force for good, and the power of creative thinking to drive positive social impact. You will be responsible for coming up with ideas and strategies that capture the audience’s attention, inspire behaviour change and drive our clients business growth and saliency.

- JOIN THE LEADERSHIP TEAM, AND BE PART OF DEFINING AND CURATING A UNIQUE VOICE AND POINT OF VIEW FOR THE AGENCY.
- PROVIDE CREATIVE LEADERSHIP ACROSS ALL EMEA ACCOUNTS.
- INTERROGATE THE BRIEFS – ASK THE RIGHT QUESTIONS AND TAKE THE TIME TO UNDERSTAND THE CLIENT’S BUSINESS PROBLEM – BE SYMPATHETIC TO THE CLIENT’S BUSINESS NEEDS AND HAVE A STRONG BELIEF IN THE AGENCY’S ABILITY TO BE A TRUSTED ADVISOR TO THESE (RATHER THAN A SERVICE PROVIDER).
- LEAD THE CREATIVE RESPONSE TO ALL BRIEFS – DEFINE THE CREATIVE VISION AND CONCEPTS, DELEGATE, PROD, STEER, AND ENCOURAGE TEAM MEMBERS.
- PRESENT THINKING WITH PASSION AND ENTHUSIASM TO CLIENTS – BE THE FACE OF THE AGENCY’S CREATIVE.
- BE RESPONSIBLE ALONGSIDE THE CLIENT SERVICES TEAM, THAT PROJECTS ARE DELIVERED TO THE HIGHEST STANDARD AND QUALITY, WHATEVER THE MEDIUM.
- HELP TO CONTRIBUTE AND SHAPE HOW THE WORK’S IMPACT IS MEASURED OVER TIME.
- NURTURE AND SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL GROWTH OF THE AMSTERDAM CREATIVE TEAM.

- YOU BRING 7+ YEARS EXPERIENCE AND 2-4 YEARS IN A SIMILAR LEADERSHIP POSITION.

- YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE AND CONFIDENCE WORKING ON A BROAD VARIETY OF PROJECTS, INCLUDING SOCIAL & DIGITAL CONTENT, ART DIRECTION FOR PRINT & FILM, SPATIAL, AND RETAIL ENVIRONMENTS, EXHIBITIONS, EXPERIENTIAL & EVENTS AND 360/OMNICHANNEL CAMPAIGN THINKING IS A MUST.
- YOU HAVE PROVEN, SOLID EXPERIENCE IN CONCEPTING, PLANNING, AND DIRECTING CAMPAIGN SHOOTS COVERING PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILM.
- YOU HAVE CREATIVE SUCCESS WORKING IN COLLABORATIVE AND MULTI-FUNCTIONAL TEAMS AND PARTNERSHIPS.
- YOU ARE PROACTIVE AND INDEPENDENT, WITH HIGH ATTENTION TO DETAIL.
- YOU HAVE EXCELLENT ORGANIZATIONAL, COMMUNICATION, AND TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS.
- YOU ARE OUTGOING, AMBITIOUS, ENTHUSIASTIC, AN ETERNAL OPTIMIST AND A PASSIONATE INDIVIDUAL.
